Bone thinning?
Posted on Aug 14, 2021Our bones are constructed from a thick outer shell and a strong inner mesh. It looks a little like a ‘crunchie bar’! The inner mesh is filled with collagen, calcium and other minerals. Inside the honeycomb spaces are blood vessels and bone marrow. With bone thinning (osteoporosis) there is loss of the honeycomb mesh.
